PLASC 2005 Commissioning Process
  • AS wrote to Policy Facing colleagues (copying in
    policy teams) at the end of September 2003,
    seeking proposals for any amendments to the Pupil
    Level Annual Schools Census (PLASC) in 2005.
    Ofsted, QCA and LSC were also involved in the
    process. A number of proposed changes were
    subsequently received and these have been
    discussed at length by the ASC Project Board. LEA
    views on the proposals have also been gathered
    via a RIG Data Collection Core Group meeting.
