Subject Definition
  • The subject is the Who or What that the
    sentence is about.
  • It is most usually found before the verb.
  • The simple subject is always a noun or a group of
    words acting as a noun.
  • Without a subject, the sentence is incomplete.

Clues for finding the predicate

  • Could be one word or a group of words
