The Wagon
  • The wagons were blue on the bottom and had red
    wheels.
  • Wagons were usually very packed and very
    uncomfortable.
  • Wagons were called prairie schooner.
  • Wagons were 4 ft. wide and 6 ft. long.
  • Wagon wheels had a medal rim around the edge.

The Trail
  • The Oregon Trail was very dusty and bumpy.
  • Many people died on the trail from disease and
    germs.
  • Alcove Springs was one of the best stops on the
    Oregon Trail.
  • In Nebraska the trail was flat and wide opened.

People/ Clothing
  • On the Oregon Trail you would bring 2 or 3 pairs
    of clothes.
  • Most people on the trail only had one pair of
    shoes.
  • The women on the trail wore dresses and bonnets,
    that went for the young girls, too.
