Convert Jobs

• B92JXSIZ
• Report generator job which counts the number of
  JBRX and JBRY records in your database, to
  estimate the size of download datasets.
• Use 1 cylinder per 6900 records.
• B92JXCNV
• Downloads JBRX and JBRY records.
• Converts JBRX and JBRY records to JBRE records.
• These jobs run after V41 upgrade with active STC
• GAREs are only created during archiving !

EIF overview

• User defined fields for separate indexing and
  fast access.
• 2 fields are general available for free use
  (JBREUF01 and JBREUF02).
• 30 additional fields require EIF license key.
• Special importance of field selection.
• User fields 01 to 08 are mapped to GARE records
  and thus only these are available for searching
  for jobs to reload.

User defined layout

• You need (JBREUF01 JBREUF02)
• Ensure that they are not used otherwise
• The fields
• Data Type, Length and Category
• Display and Search Allowed
• A search layout
• A result layout
• Scan definitions to fill the fields
• Target id 500 and 501 to fill JBREUF01 and
  JBREUF02
• They are called final target id when used in
  dependent scan processing
