MY STUDY SKILLS

HOW I SPEND STUDY HALL

• For the first half of study hall I always work on
  homework if I have any.
• The second half I spend reading accelerated
  reader. (If I dont have homework I read the
  whole period)
• I normally buy a small snack.

WHEN I GET HOME

• I get home around 245.
• When I get home I normally get a small snack, go
  in my room, and I read accelerated reader for
  about a half a hour.
• After I read I do any written homework that does
  not include work on computers.
• I only do this because written homework is easy
  to do when its quiet and nobody is home at this
  time.
• Later, when my little brother is home, he plays
  in the computer room so I could watch him and
  still do my homework if I have any on the
  computer.
• Next I normally have either pitching, batting, or
  soccer practice.

EVENINGS AFTER DINNER

• We eat dinner at around 730.
• Right after dinner I will work on any projects if
  I have any.
• If not, I will go right to studying.
• When I study I normally read text and then take
  small notes.
• If there is any worksheets I will go over those
  and I will look on the teachers websites for
  notes, power points, videos, or worksheets.
• If I really dont understand something I will
  watch a short clip on it from discovery
  streaming.
• When I know the info. well enough it will be
  around 900.
• Now I have free time to do what ever I want until
  its time for me to go to bed. (I normally watch
  TV or play on the computer)

HELP FROM MY PARENTS

• Most of the help I received was from when I was
  younger. ( preschool kindergarten)
• They helped me by giving me help on my homework
  and reading. Also, when I was in first grade he
  would practice easy math problems with me.
• My parents made sure I would always read and get
  my homework done.
