Lowered Speed

• Chinese economy started growing rapidly,Starting
  from 2001, GDP doubled and the average growth
  rate of the five years till now is 8.9
• The cement output in 2005 reached 1.06 billion
  tons, about 45 of the world total. About 1
  billion tons are sold in domestic market, with a
  cement consumption per capita of 800kg.

• Driven by the rapid growth of national economy,
  cement market shows the tendency of fast growth
  as well . In five years a net output increase of
  450 million tons has been achieved, with an
  annual growth of 90 million tons. The average
  growth rate is 10. However, the growing speed
  is now slowed thanks to the macro-control policy
  since 2004.

• New dry process kilns have been developing at a
  high speed since 2001. 477 production lines have
  been set up from 2001 to 2005, with newly
  increased clinker capacity of 413.11 million tons
  and the annual growth rate as high as 50.9. The
  proportion of the production lines above 5000t/d
  to all is 34.17 in 2005, compared to 9.6 in
  2000.

  capacity. In 2005, the percentage rose to 13.68.

  business. Most of the 25 companies are among the
  top 50 cement companies in China and their total

  reached 22.16 million tons. The export keeps
  growing this year, a total of 20.7 million tons
