  • A point is a location in space. It has no size.
  • A line is a series of points that extend in two
    directions without end. A line can be named with
    a lower case letter.
  • A plane is a flat surface. It has no thickness.
    It continues without end in all directions
  • A segment is a part of a line. It has two
    endpoints.
  • A ray is a part of a line. It has exactly one
    endpoint. Name its end point first.
