Introduction
  •
  • Welcome all detectives! A bank robber dropped
his bag of change in the street as he tried to
get away. The problem is in order for the bank
to accept all the coins, they must be in
chronological order by dates! It is your job to
put them in order. Good luck!

4
Tasks
  • Your task is to collect all the coins scattered
around your groups desk and using post-it notes
record the date of each quarter, dime, nickel or
penny. Once this is finished you are to combine
with all other groups of detectives to put
together all of the missing coins in their
    categories. (Quarters, dimes, etc.)
  • Collect all coins
  • Write down each date on a post-it note Put
    Dates in chronological order
  • Work with other groups to put all coins in
    order

Evaluation
  • The teacher will observe the students to see if
they can correctly locate the date on the coin,
record and arrange in chronological order. The
teacher will also make note of the students
participation in making the class graph and how
    they cooperated with one another.
