Project Overview

• Develop a method to interface an LCD to a Windows
  XP PC through USB
• Develop a library of functions that can be used
  to display text to the LCD
• Develop a user application that will allow users
  to display text to the display

• USB I2C I/O development board
• Data Image CM2021S1LY-J3 2x20 LCD

• User will be able to enter text to display onto
  LCD
• User will be able to open file and scroll
  contents to the LCD
• User will be able to apply various formatting
  options
• User will have option of streaming stock quotes
  to LCD
