3EU politics for territory protection
European Community biodiversity protection and
territory data-monitoring recommendation. Most
fires in the Mediterranean region are caused by
human activities Increasing population growth
and population density are accellerating the
causes of damages on worldwide landscape and
biodiversity. Despite the devastating effects,
still a fire detection and monitoring
activities are not yet harmonized. WLG is a
system which activities target is interactivity
and dynamic support to forest fires detection
tasks and management.
4WLG the invention
The present invention has been specifically
developed for the early detection of fires in
forest and rural/mountain areas in order to limit
their destroying effects. The WLG patented
system is a wireless utility whose target is the
propagation of fire alarms throughout a mesh
network (chain) distributed over the monitored
territory.
5WLG the Nebula concept
The Radio Alarm Station which senses the fire
sends , using radio waves, an alarm signal
through the mesh network, structured by low power
TRx radio stations, by means of a random
propagation the "NEBULA" concept. The alarm
signal reaches in a few seconds the GSM node
dedicated to send the alarm signal to the central
station.
The Radio Alarm Stations are located to protect a
specific area the distance between alarm
stations may vary according to orographical
diversity, surrounding vegetation diversity, or
specific level of protection required, and may
vary between 30 meters and 100 meters.
6WLG innovation and integration
The WLG takes benefits of an STE Engineered
innovative data transmission method integrated in
a dedicated highly effective hardware. SPX
technology enables the operativity of the single
unit up to 10 years with the same battery and
means
- Very low cost product maintenance.
- Very low cost service impact.
Despite system's engineering and complexity, the
WLG does not require specific installation
competence and training unit low cost, and
EASY-to-USE operativity, gives WLG a low
vulnerability impact to vandalisms and product
alteration.

believe market stringent expectations are leading
to more aggressive production targets in which
simple radiofrequency applications (remote door
opener, key-fob, remote alarm systems and other),
market saturated applications and productions,

processes in which sensors technology and
