Target group
  • 100 parents and 25 teachers/adult tutors,
    together with their schools and communities
  • The project includes working with marginalised
    children and families, working with children with
    special needs.
  • The project improves dialoge of cultures as well
    in countries as between differnt countries and
    improves cooperation and understanding in
    multicultural world.

Aims and activities
  • Bringing parents, students, siblings, teachers,
    adult tutors and community organisations together
    in enjoyable creative and challenging activities
  • Developing understanding of the important
    contribution that family involvement in learning
    makes to a child's development and educational
    success.
  • Parents will learn how to maximise educational
    success in their whole family through
    participation in creative family activities,
    parenting education.
  • Development of support organisations (Parents
    Associations) in schools and communities.

  • Partner organizations shared pedagogical
    methodologies, trained teachers and adult tutors
    in these methodologies, which underpined the
    project's work with parents and families
  • Parents and other family members were encouraged
    to seek further lifelong learning opportunities
  • Partner organizations provided support in the
    development of Parent Associations or the work of
    existing ones
