  • From Geant output, determine slope of the track

    instead of 2) and integrate light for all grains
  • Search for maxima in the corresponding histo
  • For a given threshold, a maximum defines a
    cluster cuts also possible on the width of
    peaks

Smart Tracker emulation (old)
  • cells of 25 microns in the frame
  • Search for 3 consecutive clusters in cell i,j
  • Then complete grain association in the other
    planes, without cell restriction
  • Keep the combination with the max number N of
    associated clusters
  • If N?6 the track is accepted

SUTS emulation tentative
  • Start in the middle frames is there one cluster?
  • Based on this point, try all directions of a
    scanning ray
  • If, in another plane, a cluster is at a distance

Preliminary and limited results

  • Started with SUTS emulation pulse height
  • Dynamics input grains number is 125 (30 MeV/c)
  • and 16 (300 MeV/c)
  • Increase number of frame? But depth of field 2
    micron!
  • Define the good parameters for one emulsion layer
  • Then apply to several gap lead/emulsion
  • Same for Sysal how many frames/emulsion needed?
  • Saturation is tuning compatible with a good
    track efficiency ? Devoted guided re-scan?

Conclusions
  • Soon microtrack efficiency and its parameters
    for new ,old sysal and SUTS
  • In progress strategies for dE/dX exploitation
    for which Genima can be very useful
  • Production of complete neutrino events for vertex
    elaboration studies
