TEACHER Create Assignment
Add a homework assignment in the Work Events
area of your class.
Select the Allow students to submit completed
work to this assignment option.

STUDENT Submitting Homework
To submit his work, Leon clicks on the
appropriate homework assignment or project on his
class page.

Next, Leon clicks on the Submit Assignment button.

Leon locates his file using the Browse button,
writes a note to his teacher, and clicks Upload.

Leons teacher can view the Homework Drop Box to
see which Work Event items have submissions
from students.

Leons teacher, Mr. Hall, clicks on the View
Assignments button to see which students have
submitted work for this assignment.

TEACHER Who has turned in the assignment?
Mr. Hall can download Leons assignment by
clicking on the Submitted link. He may also read
Leons comment.

TEACHER Who has turned in the assignment?
Leons teacher can also download multiple
assignments at one time by selecting multiple
students and clicking SAVE.
eChalk will compress all selected files into 1
ZIP file for easier downloading. Each students
name will automatically be appended to each file
name to help teachers identify which submission
belongs to each student.
