Dra. Maria João Safara
  • Graduated in human resources management and
    organizational psychology post graduation in
    management (Canterbury university- England)
  • Develops her work as manager, consultant and
    certified trainer by IEFP, both in national and
    international companies, in some areas such as
    outplacement, career management, coaching,
    training and consultancy in organizational
    restructure.
  • She undertakes research in human resources
    management and personal development areas, at a
    national (IEFP observatory) and international
    (the biggest research group in this field, Cranet
    network of the Cranfield University- England
    since 1998) level.
  • Develops a work of professional cooperation with
    the society for human resource management USA
    (SHRM), writing opinion maker articles and
    establishing contacts both in Portugal and in
    Europe, thus creating a global network.
  • Developed in 2006 projects in Angola for Sonangol
    Distribuidora within the organizational
    restructure and succession plans, for the whole
    company, including the provinces.
  • Also participates as speaker and coordinator in
    seminars and conferences in Portugal and abroad.
