Storyboarding

• is used to plan, produce and evaluate multimedia
  presentations.

Storyboard

• is a pictorial and/or written synopsis of text.
  Graphics, videos, animation, etc. shown in the
  order they will appear in the final presentation.
  
• in other words, all multimedia resources are
  identified.

Storyboarding

• As a description of each slide is provided, it
  should include the following
• Interactivity of slides (if appropriate)
• Hyperlinks (if appropriate)
• Any navigation tools needed and,
• Any needed directions for the user.

Planning with a Storyboard

• Storyboards can be used as a pre-production tool
  in planning a presentation. They allow the makeup
  and structure of a presentation and/or its parts
  to be detailed.

Planning with a Storyboard

• As a planning tool, storyboarding forces you to
  organize your ideas before it is time to
• Make the slide show
• Produce handouts and/or notes
• Product/collect resources and,
• Write out the full text.

Production with a Storyboard

• In producing a presentation, the storyboard can
  be used as a reminder of the productions content
  and sequence. Storyboards can also be used to
  produce the resources to be used in the
  production.

Editing with a Storyboard

• To increase the efficiency and effectiveness of
  the editing process, a storyboard can be used to
  review and modify as necessary what was planned.
