How do proto-stellar clouds collapse?
  • Stars form in small regions collapsing
    gravitationally within larger molecular clouds.
  • We can see through thick, dusty clouds in the
    infrared.
  • Protostars begin to shine within the clouds,
    revealing temperature and density structure.
