The Project

• A collaboration between Cumbria and Lancashire
  CSPs in the roll out of a 2 year workforce
  related project
• Hosted and administrated by the University of
  Cumbria
• Aim To assist in the development of a quality
  sport workforce across these two counties and
  ultimately help to increase participation in
  sport and active leisure in local communities
• Targeting individuals aged 16 working or
  volunteering in sports clubs / organisations
• Individuals apply to the University to receive
  support towards skills and qualifications
• 40 or 250 contribution whichever the lesser

Eligibility

• 16 years or over
• Clubs/organisation must be in Cumbria or
  Lancashire
• Paid or unpaid/acting as a volunteer or self
  employed by a club
• Club criteria
• Clubmark or equivalent
• Working towards
• Recognised formal community link
• Individual must commit to delivery of a min 15
  hrs work for the club within 3 months of
  attending the training course
• 1 application per person
