  • Need for a more effective integration of
    disaster risk considerations into sustainable
    development, policies, planning and programming.

    reduction.

  • After a disaster systematic integration of risk
    reduction approaches into the design and
    implementation of emergency preparedness,
    response and recovery programs.
  • Prevention mechanisms, in particular EWS, to be
    focused on relevant populations.
  • Enhance partnerships and their co-ordination.
  • Develop a framework for reduction of risks
    created by non sustainable development, in
    particular in relation to climatic changes.
