Aims of Doktorat.at

EURODOC - objectives

    of their careers.

    the standards of research activity in Europe.

    take part in debates and assist in the
    elaboration of policies about Higher Education
    and Research in Europe.

  • Researcher's Mobility Portal Austria
    (www.researchinaustria.info) contains
    information on subjects like fellowships, grants,
    practical information like visa and working
    regulations, child care, accommodation etc and
    links to the Mobility Centers (eg.
    www.oead.ac.at) who offer customised assistance.
  • In general, there is a very flexible system of
    doctoral postgraduate education in Austria. The
    first step is to find a subject and a supervisor.
    For this purpose, browse through the homepages of
    the departments, institutes and research units
    and simply contact scientists working in a
    research field that interests you.
