  man or woman will be a batterer. However there
  are some personality traits that may indicate
  abusive tendencies.
• Holds rigid, traditional gender roles
• Showing extreme jealousy and possessiveness
• May have negative attitude towards women in
  general
• Refuses to take responsibility . His mistakes or
  failures are always someone else's fault.
• Shows excessive charm .
• Is easily frustrated with little flexibility
• Tendency to minimize, deny or lie
• Is very selfish and has a need to always be
  right.
• Uses violence as a way to handle conflicts
• Has mood swings from high to low
• Exhibits cruelty to animals
• Grew up in a violent household
