Love

• 1 John 47-10 Dear friends, let us love one
  another, for love comes from God. Everyone who
  loves has been born of God and knows God.
  8Whoever does not love does not know God, because
  God is love. 9This is how God showed his love
  among us He sent his one and only Son into the
  world that we might live through him. 10This is
  love not that we loved God, but that he loved us
  and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our
  sins.
• God is the source, Jesus is our example, the Holy
  Spirit is the producer !

• Love ORIGINATES with God God is Love!
• V8 Whoever does not love does not know God,
  because God is love.
• 1 John 47 Dear friends, let us love one another,
  for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has

• 2. Love is always DEMONSTRATED Jesus.
• 9This is how God showed his love among us He
  sent his one and only Son into the world that we
  might live through him. 10This is love not that
  we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his
  Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
• Romans 58 But God demonstrates his own love for
  us in this While we were still sinners, Christ
  died for us.

• 3. Agape Love is PRODUCED in us Holy Spirit.
• 1 John 413 We know that we live in him and he in
  us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
• Romans 55 And hope does not disappoint us,
  because God has poured out his love into our
  hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

• Galatians 522-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is
  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
  faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control.
• Hows your Love?
• Lacking passion for Christ?

To Rekindle your love

• Rev. 24-5 Yet I hold this against you You have
  forsaken your first love. Remember the height
  from which you have fallen! Repent and do the
  things you did at first

• We are transformed!
• 2 Cor. 517 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he
  is a new creation old things have passed away
  behold, all things have become new.

• Two Commandments Jesus gives
• Mark 1229-31 "The most important one
  (commandment)," answered Jesus, "is this 'Hear,
  O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
  30Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
  with all your soul and with all your mind and
  with all your strength.'
• 31The second is this 'Love your neighbor as
  yourself.' There is no commandment greater than
  these."

• LOVE GOD!
• Then we are able to
• LOVE OTHERS!

Growing in my love for the Lord

• You will become more obedient to Gods Word!
• You will share the Gospel of Christ with the
  lost!
• You will experience daily victory in your lives!
• You will grow more like the Master Jesus!
• You will be richly rewarded throughout eternity!
