THE COMMUNITY INITIATIVE EQUAL
What is EQUAL?
Equal is a Community Initiative, funded by the
European Social Fund, aiming at supporting
innovative transnational projects for the
development of strategies fostering employement
growth in Europe.
What is the link between the project PEREQUAL and

PROJECT MAIN OBJECTIVE
  • Contributing to the innovation-oriented process
marking the agricultural machinery industry at

  • (technological, economic, production-related,
    organizational and legal developments)
  • If not duly anticipated and governed
  • they might turn
  • from growth and expansion opportunities
  • into risk factors liable to undermine industry
    competitiveness

6
PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES (1)
The objective of boosting sector comptetitiveness
can be subdivided into the following specific
sub-objectives
7
PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES (2)
8
ACTION LINES
  • The following three work paths have been
    identified

Employees vocational retraining and adjustment of
the available education paths for those who want
to have access to the agricultural machinery
industry
Enhancement of internal and external
communication and exploitation of the potential
and opportunities deriving from both private and
public support tools
Reaffirmation of the critical role of RS
initiatives among those to be targeted by
investments
9
WORK PLAN
  • The project focuses on the implementation of a
number of integrated actions subdivided into 6
    macro-phases

analysis and involving all UNACOMA members
  • Detailed planning of vocational training paths
and development of the related teaching tools
  • The activation of two experimental training paths
    (20 beneficiaries per course)
  • Course A1, for the transfer of industry-specific
    microlinguistic knowledge
  • Course A2, for the update of competences on the
    retrieval, filing and treatment of

Beneficiaries
Activities
  • A research phase, focussing on a training need
analysis and involving all industry companies
    belonging to UNACOMA
  • Detailed planning of vocational training paths
and development of the related teaching tools
  • The activation of three experimental training
    paths (12 beneficiaries per course)
  • Course B1, for the updating of competencies
pertaining to the new CAP and to its impact on
    product planning and distribution processes
  • Course B2, for the transfer of competences on
laws and regulations concerning product safety
and quality in the various end markets
