In 1999, I built up enough courage to leave my
home town of Santa Maria, California.

• Life at home lacked ambition, so I left my jobs
  as a janitor and math tutor. I packed my bags and
  hit the road going south.

In Los Angeles,

• I found a job shelving books for the Los Angeles
  Public Library Branch in Los Feliz, home to
  Griffith Park, . . .

. . . numerous Frank Lloyd Wright Houses, and
then Myself.

• I moved into a small pocket of the neighborhood
  called Lyman Village. The whole block swarmed
  with young free-spirit types. It was quite easy
  making friends.

Unfortunately, in 2004 my building caught fire.

Luckily, my best bud Craig offered me his extra
room to rent.He lived on the same block. The
party continued.

This last year was particularly good.

• I graduated college . . .

. . . I traveled around Argentina,

and I received the best going away blowout!

Now, Im in Vancouver.

My plan while here is . . .

• Get my MLIS,
• and snowboard Whistler as much as possible!
