Importance of Family

• Family is very important in Chinese culture.
• Many generations of family live together in one
  house, the grandparents run the family
• The son stays in the house and the daughter moves
  in with her husband

Grandparents

• The husbands parents are the natives and the
  wifes parents are the foreigns
• The husbands father is either called gong gong
  or ye ye
• His mothers either called po po or nai nai
• The wifes father is either called wai gong or zu
  fu
• Her mothers either called wai po or zu mu
• Calling someone grandma or grandpa is a sign of
  respect because age comes with honor.

  such as Confucianism and Taoism
• It moved and attracted many people from all over
  the world

  appreciated arts

• Children usually wear clothes with cartoon
  characters
