David and Goliath

• It all started when the Israelites and the
  Philistines had a war. The Philistines had a big
  giant on their team called Goliath. He challenged
  anyone from the Israelites to fight him. If
  anyone defeated him, all his men would become
  their slaves. If he defeated anyone all their
  army would become his slaves.

• David, a small boy, who was looking after his
  fathers sheep up on a hill thought he was brave
  and went to King Saul. King Saul agreed to let
  David fight Goliath and David went to Goliath
  armed with only with a catapult and 5 smooth
  stones. When Goliath got closer and realised that
  David was only a small boy he laughed and said,
  Come on, lets fight!

• David aimed one of his stones and hit Goliath
  right on the forehead! He fell to the ground and
  David took his sword and cut of his head! David
  went to King Saul with Goliaths head.

• This story shows bravery and courage. It doesn't
  matter how small you are, (like David) you just
  need to be brave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
