Our Personalities
Composer, pianist and jazz legend, Ramsey Lewis,
has been referred to as the great performer, a
title reflecting his personal style and musical
selections.. Ramsey Lewis, along with co-host,
Karen Williams, have been a fixture on morning
radio in Chicago for almost ten years. Now, Love
94 welcomes this dynamic twosome to its South
Florida audience.
Stephanie Bromfield is a native Miamian who is a
familiar voice on South Florida radio and a
very familiar face in the community. Active both
in the news studio (previously a news anchor at
our sister stations, WIOD and WINZ) and the music
studio (a 10-year veteran on Love 94) you can
count on Stephanie spending as much time and
energy out and about representing many community
events and organizations.
I'm an actual South Florida native. I can be
heard 2p 7p Mon Fri.
I've been on the air in one capacity or another
at Love 94 for more than 15 years now, and I'm
convinced that I've got the best job in the
world. I get to play the music that I love, talk
about the talented musicians who create that
music, and even get to meet the artists every so
often when they swing through town.

Billy Raven, heard week nights from 7pm to 12
mid. Billy was born on March 22 in Hollis,
Queens in New York. He began his radio career at
a college station, which helped him to realize
that radio was his passion. Love 94 is Billy's
first real radio job and we're glad he's still
here. When not using his velvety smooth voice on
the radio,
Love 94 has its very own Barry White in the form
of Billy Raven!
Stu launched his career in radio broadcasting in
1971 with WBUS on Miami Beach, hosting the
overnight show. Stu honed his jazz skills
working with China Valles, Joe Rico and his
father, Alan Grant. Stu Grant followed WBUS with
stints playing jazz on Zeta 4, WVCG, EZ 105 and
The Breeze, finally, finding his way to Love 94.
And, we're glad to have him. Stu Grant is the
jazz history authority on Love 94. Tune in
Sunday mornings, 900am to 200pm for "Sunday
Jazz Brunch" with your host, Stu Grant
Jerry came to Love 94 on Valentine's Day 1994
with a long history in the entertainment
business. Musician, sound engineer, comic, stage
manager, you name it, Jerry can do it. Having
lived in South Florida for thirty years, he
certainly appreciates everything the area has to
offer. When he's not staying up all night playing
jazz, you can probably find him on a softball
field somewhere, or with a fishing pole in his
hand, and on weekends, Jerry is playing guitar
with the Bent Fender Band.
