1Titusville Leisure Services
2The Titusville Leisure Services is the successor
organization to the Titusville Recreation
Commission and has existed since at least the
early 1950s when it was organized under the
Third Class City Code. Since that time, the
Titusville Leisure Services and its predecessor
have supervised, provided and enhanced the
recreational facilities and programs within the
City of Titusville and the Titusville area and a
cooperative effort between TASD and the City has,
to a large extent, made this endeavor
possible. The most recent agreement was signed
on March 1st, 2004
3Mission
- The Mission of Titusville Leisure Services is to
continually develop, maintain and evaluate a high
quality recreation program and comprehensive
parks system for citizens of the greater
Titusville region as part of a cooperative
agreement between the Titusville Area School
District and the City of Titusville - not yet adopted
4- VISIONAll citizens will have the opportunity
to participate in diverse recreational/cultural/le
isure activities that meet their individual needs

5- TLSB oversees 285 acres of City of Titusville
park property. This includes - operation of a 12,000 sq. ft. swimming pool w/
water slide and concessions - a multi-use trail
- a multi purpose recreation complex which features
7 baseball/softball fields, 10 soccer fields, 2
tennis courts, sand volleyball, full service
concession stand w/ restrooms, a bmx bike track,
and a stadium with 400 meter track - 10 regional multipurpose fields
- 4 community playgrounds
- a skate park
- 6 pavilions

9TLSB maintains employment for 47 part time
employees annually. Only one of those is
considered part time permanent in the position of
Director of Council on the Arts This position is
100 reimbursable from TCA
