How to carve a Jack-o-lantern

Step One

• Create an opening in the top
• Scoop the ooey gooey insides out
• Save the seeds for later

Step Two

• Create a design on the face of the pumpkin
• Carefully cut out your designs

Step Three

• Level out a spot on the inside bottom
• Place a candle on level bottom

Step Four

• Clean up your mess
• Separate seeds from stringy goo
• Salt and butter seeds
• Bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degrees

Step Five

• Set Jack-o-Lanterns on front porch
• Light the candles
• Enjoy the scene
