• Jesus reigns in
• a kingdom of truth and life.
• a kingdom of holiness and grace.
• a kingdom of justice, love, and peace.

1st Reading

• After David had ruled over Judah (south) for 7
  years, all Israel (north) came and asked him to
  be their king. Thus David becomes the 1st
  anointed King of the whole of Israel.

2nd Reading

• Paul is very thankful to Father for 3 things
• For being able to share the light and faith of
  the saints.
• For deliverance from the power and tyranny of
  Satan.
• For being part of the Kingdom of Gods beloved
  Son, in whom we gain our salvation.

Gospel

• Jesus is crucified on the cross. He reigns from
  the cross. The inscription, though intended for
  mockery, bears witness to the reality of His True
  Kingship.
• Moreover, one of the criminals crucified together
  with him openly acknowledges Christs kingship.

Jesus is the King of All!

• His throne is THE CROSS!
• His crown is the CROWN OF THORNS!

• His power is the Power of Love and Forgiveness.
• His kingdom resides in the HEARTS OF MEN AND
  WOMEN.
