Title: Advanced ID Reader for ePassport or eID Card' ReportRUXIX

1
Advanced ID Reader for e-Passport or e-ID Card
Sergey Mosienko President CEO RIMCO-XXI
2
The U.S. e-passport will also have a new look,
incorporating additional anti-fraud and security
features. The problems come in two flavors
reliability and privacy.
3
The privacy issues are more serious. Basically,
since the current standards dont call for any
encryption between the passports and the readers,
its possible to build a clandestine reader and
read passports from a distance.
4
RIMCO XXI e - Passport contains three main
components contactless smart-card chip (example,
chip Philips P5CT072 up to 72 Kbytes EEPROM
Memory), read/write crypto contactless chip at
125 kHz (example, chip ATMEL e5561) and
Metal-transponder - new Nanomaterials Magnetic
Resonance Technology.
Protected under Russia Patents 49311,50023 and

Stark-Zeeman effects
One of the main features of the AACD technology
is based on complex physical phenomena called
Stark-Zeeman effects These effects deal with
splitting of the energy levels of nuclei,
electrons and molecules by external electric or
magnetic fields. The resonant absorption and
emission of electromagnetic energy of radio and
UHF wave bands due to quantum transitions between
Stark-Zeeman sublevels underlie one of the
significant part of modern physics named
radiospectroscopy. Today the radiospectroscopy
represents set of powerful research and analytic
methods allowing detailed study of
electron-nuclear structure and local geometry of
various substances as well as  physical and
chemical processes and substance transformations.
A variety of radiospectroscopic methods allow
testing  of substance in solid, liquid and gas
phases.
9
Magnetic Resonance (MR) is the resonant
absorption/emission of electromagnetic energy in
MHz and GHz wave bands caused by transitions
between energy levels arising due to interaction
of the magnetic moments of electrons and nuclei
with applied external magnetic field. When
electromagnetic irradiation of the corresponding
frequency is applied to the object placed in the
proper magnetic field, the resonant
absorption/emission of the electromagnetic energy
occurs and MR signal may be detected. The
conditions of resonance which couple field and
frequency depend on the type of resonant system
(electrons, nuclei), quantum magnetic number
(spin) and interactions in the system under
consideration. In medical and biologic researches
MR methods are used  for the determination of
structure of biologically active substances and
studying mechanisms of their activity. The
important feature of the MR method, especially
for biological and medical applications, is low
energy of electromagnetic quantum used in MR in
nuclei subsystem. This is the main stimulus to
apply the MR diagnostic to human body without any
harmful influence on a living organisms (for
instance, in comparison with X-ray diagnostics).
Specific application of MR allows to get high
resolution 3D images of internals (hart, brain,
lungs) using detection ofspatial distribution of
specific kinds of nuclei and molecules on the
inside of living organism. This application is MR
Tomography or (more accepted) MR Imaging - MRI .
Modern MRI machine
10
MR methods are also used for detailed study of
molecular structure and character of molecular
movement in liquids and solids, mechanisms of
chemical reactions, dependences of reactionary
ability on a molecular and stereochemical
structure, band structure and properties of
semiconductors, metals and magnetically ordered
materials (ferromagnetics, antiferromagnetics),
 biological processes and physiologically active
substances. The MR are widely applied for control
and quality assurance of technological processes
in electronics, chemical and pharmaceutical
industries and even in brewing trade. Devices for
magnetic resonance research etc. refer to as
radiospectroscopes or radiospectrometers.
