Mrs Dalesio's Newsletter
3rd Grade We began this year by talking about
the things hanging in the room like, the poster
that says, Today I Will and the Annual Goals
poster. Next, we shared our Pay it Forward
projects. I liked seeing the cool creations that
4th grade shared. Lastly, I am working on comic
strip about the Preamble to the US Constitution.

My summer flew by with a flurry of day trips,
swimming pools and backyard BBQ. I hope you
enjoyed yours as much as I did mine. You will
receive this gifted newsletter monthly. The
students will be responsible for typing their
grade level sections and I will provide

6th Grade We started by sharing our summer
projects by doing something kind for someone and
then asking them to spread their kindness. Next
we worked to figure out what goals we want to
accomplish for our GIEP. Next we did a
Constitution Day project. We all had the choice
to make a comic strip, choose an amendment to
agree or disagree with, make a kid version of the
Preamble or create a new national anthem.
5th Grade We started off the year by sharing
our summer projects. Our project was to do 10
random acts of kindness which we all agreed made
us feel good to help others. Next we discussed
our GIEPs and learning goals. We learned why
our GIEP is important. After that we began our
constitution day projects. Everyone did a
different project such as agreeing or disagreeing
with an amendment or making a Preamble cartoon.
We are now finishing our designing structures
project from last year.
4th Grade We began the year by sharing our
summer projects. I liked hearing about all of
the different projects everyone did. Next we
talked about our GIEPs and learned what they
meant. We made a list of the things we want to
learn more about this year and connected them to
our GIEPs. Next we talked about the Preamble to
the Constitution and each made a project about
it. We are now finishing our Chocolate Mystery
from last year.
