Getting Started with GroupWise 7- Home View

• Quick view of your most important information
• Uses panels to display information in sections
• By default displays your calendar for the day,
  your checklist items, and your unread messages in
  a 2 column view

• Fully customizable
• Create additional panels that display the
  information you need
• Optional one column view

Customized Navigation Bar

• Quick access to the folders you use most
• By default contains Home, Mailbox, Calendar,
  Contacts, and Trash folders
• Customizable so you can add the folders you use
  frequently

Quick Filter

• Perform a filter on the panel or folder that is
  selected
• Searches on most fields that are available in the
  selected panel or folder

Find Tool

• Text of attachments is now automatically included
  in the search
• Does search in Trash

Quick Spell Check

• Spell checking as you type
• Misspelled words are underlined in red
• List of options suggestions, add the word,
  always skip, or disable spell checking

All Day Events

• Displayed at the top of the calendar view
• By default, time is NOT marked as busy
• Uses
• Clinic Note
• Special Events
• Out Of Office Mark time as busy

HTML Signatures

• Basic editor that you can use to create the
  signature
• Can add a picture and perform formatting using an
  HTML signature

Multiple Personal Calendars

• Create multiple Personal calendars
• Each new calendar supports color
• Appointment background color matches the color of
  the calendar that it belongs to
• Only accepts Posted Appointments
• Posted Personal

Images not Displaying in HTML Messages

• HTML images are not shown for security reasons by
  default
• Prevents viruses and other malicious attacks
  through email messages
• To display image click on GroupWise has
  prevented Images from displaying. Click here to
  display the image.

WebAccess GroupWise 7

• Requires
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
• Mozilla Firefox
• webmail.kumc.edu
• Select a post office
• Enter your username and password
