Exposures
3Radiofrequency Radiation Protection Guidelines
- Telecommunication Technology Council (TTC)
reported Radiofrequency Radiation Protection
Guidelines for Human Exposure to Electromagnetic
Fields (RRPG) to Ministry of Posts and
Telecommunications (MPT) in 1990. - TTC revised RRPG in 1997.
- MPT begun legislation of parts of RRPG since 1999
and 2002.
4EMF strength guidelines for general conditions
Average Time 6min
f denotes the frequency in MHz.
5Guidelines for Local Exposure Conditions
- When a human body is locally exposed to EMF,
spatial average and peak strength of incident EMF
in the space where the human body would occupy.
6RRPG and ICNIRP guidelines
E-field strength V/m
Frequency Hz
Japanese guidelines are basically harmonized with
the international guidelines (ICNIRP) in
millimeter-wave band although there are some
differences (averaging time and maximum peak
guidelines).
