  • Commencing with the Nov Magistrate Court,
    Soldiers who are
  • caught driving while intoxicated may be tried
    in Magistrate Court
  • This will ensure fairness, uniformity and a
    permanent record
  • throughout the country for all DUI/DWI
    offenders
  • Brigade Commanders may request UCMJ authority if
    they determine
  • that is a more appropriate route
  • Units may still pursue administrative grade
    reduction but not UCMJ
  • if a Soldier is tried in Magistrate Court
  • Punishments at Magistrate Court range from fines
    to jail sentences
  • of up to a year. For first time DUI offenses
    with BAC under .149 jail
  • sentences are generally suspended, for BAC over
    .149 at least 48
  • hours minimum jail time
  • Drivers who are caught driving on a license
    suspended as a result of

    DD Form 2569 - Third Party Collection Program for
    Family members. Valid for 1 year from date signed

Do I Really Have Cavities???
  • If a dentist reports an inordinate number of
    cavities, ask them to point them out on the
    X-RAYS
  • You will see three layers of the tooth
  • OUTER LAYER - ENAMEL
  • MIDDLE LAYER - DENTIN
  • INNER LAYER - PULP or NERVE
  • If there is a shadow between the teeth, then it
    can be assumed that the integrity of the enamel
    has been compromised to the point of having a
    CAVITY
  • If the shadow is less than 50 through the
    enamel, it can remineralize with fluoride
    applications
