WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP (WIL) ANNUAL RETREAT for the
Women of Haas!!! SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2001
We are really excited for the upcoming WIL
retreat! Last years retreat was a huge success,
where over 80 Haas women enjoyed a lovely day
together. The retreat was rated as one of the
best events of Orientation last fall. You wont
want to miss this opportunity to meet and mingle
with the fabulous first- and second-year women of
Haas. When? Saturday, September 8, 900AM -
900PM Where? In Napa Valley, only an hour north
of Berkeley. The area boasts a beautiful
landscape and perfect climate, and of course,
some of the best wineries in the world. How
much does it cost? What does it include? The cost
of the retreat is 50. Please include the 50 in
your Orientation payment. The cost covers your
transportation, lunch, dinner, and wine tastings.
Bike rental or horseback riding will incur an
additional expense. If either of these applies
to you, we will arrange payment collection during
Orientation Week. What Does the Day Entail? We
will leave Berkeley on buses at 930AM. The
morning will start as a large group with a lunch
followed by the group breaking into smaller
groups for a variety of afternoon activities.
The group will gather for wine tasting and cave
tour before concluding for a relaxing dinner in a
beautiful vineyard setting. Buses will return to
Berkeley by 900PM.

• Afternoon Activities
• Wine-Tasting Sample some of Americas premier
  wines at several of the best wineries in the
  world. Enjoy the wine-tasting tour on your bike
  or on the bus. If you have your own bike, we
  will transport it for you.
• Hiking Walk along the scenic trails in
  Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.
• Horseback Riding Ride through the redwoods and
  stay cool under the tree canopy! Beginners
  welcome!
