5Exclusion through Disability - A focus on
children and young people in the South East
Approach - The Action Group placed much emphasis
on ensuring that
- the research and resulting materials should
add real value to other activities related to
exclusion through disability and not duplicate
existing resources - the identification of appropriate target
audiences should be a priority and should
include Local Strategic Partnerships, Local
Authorities, Elected Members and the range of
networks and partnerships connected to the
agenda for children and young people - consultation with users (children and young
people, their parents and carers) should take
place throughout the project.
