Create a new card when

• Library starts a new subscription
• O at home
• Significant volume changes that will not allow
  for editing
• Pc magazine

Edit cards

• When you need to change
• Enumeration
• Issues per volume
• Restart/continue
• Numbering continuity
• Vol. or issue numbering

• Frequency changes are best addressed through add
  or delete boxes
• System is set to disallow changes if attached
  issues exist with old vol. number
• This creates the error message

• Cannot extrapolate boxes to change a pattern
• Hairdo example
• Select

When to delete cards

• Subscription is no longer received
• Pattern has changed and cannot be fixed
• Frequency, new enumeration
• Delete previous year boxes after you have
  extrapolated for the upcoming year
• Remember to de-select items first!
• Delete holdings card at same time please.

Issues with holdings statements

• Holdings do not match
• Do libraries look at holdings?
• When frequency changes holdings need to be
  changed manually (even when holdings are set to
  update)
• Holdings do not merge automatically when there is
  a volume change

• Start over with new statement
• Predictions may be incorrect from migration and
  have to be deleted
• Rolling Stone (Issue, Day, month, year)
• Change in prediction
• Issued monthly, now issued bi-monthly
• Change in structure of the statement
• Issue changes to vol.
