• Sketchbook Warm Up
• Work on Word and Image Project
• TRY to concentrate on taking an
  aesthetically-pleasing, emotionally-charged
  photograph.
• Then work on the word(s) to go with it.

Sketchbook Warm Up 5/25/07

• Make a list of 20 words
• Half-Rhyme all 20 words-stretching the
  possibilities of rhyming
• example Jazz with Fizz or Lounge with
  orange
• 3. Add a color and a place or proper name to your
  list of words
• 4. You should have 42 words as ingredients for
  your writing. Using
• these words as ingredients in a soup, start
  mixing them together
• an see what happens.
• If you get stuck repeat a phrase, line, or word
  you just wrote
• because repetition gathers mysterious strength.
• Relax as you write, try not to think too hard,
  just flow along,
• grabbing words from your list, add others not on
  your list,
• and see where it leads you. Try to use as many
  ingredients
• from your list as you can.
