It is a good idea to talk with your family about
emergency situations at home and out of the home.
You should discuss what to do, where to go, and
how to help.

Other important things you should talk about with
your family are --dont play with
matches --know how to use a fire
extinguisher --who to call in case of an
emergency --what neighbors house to go to in
certain situations --what to do for weather
problems (eg. Tornado, flood, etc) --Police and
Firefighter differences and their numbers in your
local community

And remember to test your smoke detector every
month and change the batteries!
