Readers Response

• Task A readers response is a way of reflecting
  on a text that you have already read. The
  audience is your teacher and your classmates who
  may be looking for suggestions when selecting an
  independent reading book. Your readers response
  should contain the following
• Title
• Author/Illustrator/Number of Pages.
• Summary-The summary should be brief and should
  reflect an understanding of the main theme of the
  text. It should not give away the ending, but
  entice a fellow classmate to want to read the
  story.
• Recommendation The recommendation should be
  based on personal feelings about the text.
• Connection- Discuss a Text-to-Self, Text-to-text,
  of Text-to-World connection that you made while
  reading this book.
• Comments You covered all the requirements well,
  however, your summary lacks suspense. Your
  connection is on target-tigers are on the
  endangered species list-what else could you have
  said in your response to entice the reader to
  learn more about tigers before they become
  extinct?
