  • Students need to work with web page to search
    information
  • Students will use different resources and verbal
    features to create their own dialog and
    conversation.
  • Students will learn to gather, to select, to
    record, to interpret, and to present information
    using variety of sources through different
    technologies.

    students (Every computer should install
    soundrecord function in the computer lab)

    able to write a small paragraph to present the
    different types of houses and to present their
    needs about house searching.

Procedure
  • Pre-computer activities
  • (1) The teacher does the review of last
    lesson which is talking about the difference of
    apartment, condo, townhouse and house
  • .
  • (2) The teacher asks the class to discuss their
    impressions of their house

Presentation of the lesson
  • After students brainstorming of their ideal
    place to live, the teacher will present the
    example of the website where they can find a good
    place to live.

    teacher will teach the students how to search the
    useful information.
  • The teacher will ask the student to practice
    through the net to find an ideal living place
    which can fit their needs

Student practiceDay two
  • After students are much aware of searching
    information, the teacher is going to play the
    Demo records which are played by the function of
    sounds record.
  • After listening to the record, the teacher make
    the class work in pairs. Each pair of the
    students needs to brainstorm their topic and
    conversation and create their own conversation
    through the information they just search on the
    net.

  • After their practice of conversation, the teacher
    is going to teach the students about the function
    of soundrecord which already installed in their
    computer in the lab

  • The teacher will teach the students how to use
    the soundrecord and go around to observe their
    movement
  • the teacher will ask them to create their own
    dialog through the soundrecord and save it as a
    file.

  • Each group need to brainstorm the situation of

  • Ask each group write a short script of the stage
    performance described the situation of what will
    happened when they are renting a place.

  • Always do the review of last lesson to get the
    students into the situation and catch on their
    weak part.
  • Always slow down to check the students progress
  • Arrange for computer assistance from lab
    technician
  • Hold a computer skills workshop for word
    processing, designing, editing, and publishing
  • Ask the students to have their own workshop. They
    can learn from each other and review the lesson
    easily.
