Who is the Mid-County Citizens Advisory Board
  • 15 volunteers who live or work in the Mid-County
    region.
  • Appointed by the County Executive and confirmed
    by the County Council for up to two 3 year terms
  • Supported by Regional Service Center Staff
  • Represents all sections of the Mid-County region
  • Is accessible and accountable to the community

  • Bounded on the South by the beltway
  • Bounded on the North by Howard County

What does the Board do?
  • Acts as a liaison between the community and the
    local government
  • Provides recommendations to elected and appointed
    government officials and agencies
  • Monitors legislative issues, County budget
    processes, development and safety issues
  • Educates the community about the local
    government, services, problems, needs and issues
