• The article 56 of the new Public Procurement
  Code, in force since beginning september 2001,
  and the subsequent ministerial instructions give
  technical and legal basis for electronic
  tendering and auctions
• In April 2002 is established the obligation (1rst
  January 2005, the latest), for a public
  purchaser, to be able to receive bids by
  electronic means goods, works and services
  calls for tender
• Sept.2006 Tenders documents must be made
  available online above thresholds.
• In 2010, Public Purchasers may oblige
  suppliers/contractors to exchange electronically
  tender phase, contracting and execution phases
