How to Make my own Paper

Gather what you will need.

• Lots of scraps of paper
• Food processor or blender
• Two tablespoons of white glue
• 2-3 cups of water
• Sink with 4 inches of water
• Panty hose
• 2 wire coat hangers
• Electric iron (Have an adult help)

First of all, lets make the frame.

• Take the coat hanger apart and make a square,
  with the ends twisted together.
• Stretch pantyhose over wire frame.
• Tie knots at both ends of the pantyhose.
• Repeat process so you have two frames.

Making Pulp

• Put some pieces of paper and water into the
  blender (You might need the help of an adult).
• Mix together on high.
• Add more paper and water as needed.
• Make sure there is enough water to mix easily.
• Mix, mix, and mix some more!

• Put the glue in the sink.
• Mix well.
• Add the pulp.
• Mix well again.

• After mixing, slide frame to the bottom of the
  sink.
• Lift the frame up slowly
• Let the water drain away slowly
• Repeat process again to make another sheet of
  paper

Drying the Paper

• Set the frames out to dry.
• When they are COMPLETLY dry pull the paper off of
  the screens.
• Have an adult steam the pieces of paper with an
  iron on the hottest setting.
