Title: MAMA Kickoff Meeting, Paris 111232002

1
Work-Package 5 MAMA-NET
  • Objective
  • To initiate a data and information exchange
    system (Net-MedGOOS) that will support
  • Exchange of operational data / metadata between
    agencies
  • Access to operational products for MAMA partners
  • Partners
  • NCMR, ENEA, IFREMER, IOLR, ICM, IOC, IMBC
  • IMC, IOI-MOC, NIB, DFMR, IMS-METU, CNR-S2AM, IOR,
    ANPA

2
Present Situation
  • Adequate experience on archives of historical
data (IOC-MEDI, MODB, MEDATLAS, MEDAR etc)
  • Limited experience on exchange of NRT data sets
    (MFS-PP)
  • Limited experience on operational products
  • Difficulties to access even the few available
    products
