    does not apply.

  • When using both object pronouns, the indirect
    always comes before the direct.
  • Usually they happen together as a unit.

4
Double object pronouns
  • When doubling the pronouns, you can never have
    l-l together in the grouping.
  • Les lo can never happen.
  • If it is l-l, the first indirect object changes
to se to avoid the repetition of the l sound.
  • Les lo would be se lo.

5

  • He gave Juana the flowers.
  • He gave her them.
  • Él le las da.
  • Él se las da.
  • If the l-l, sound is not present, do nothing with
    the se.

6
Double object pronoun
  • He gave me the flowers.
  • He gave me them.
  • Él me las da.
  • Do nothing!

7
Double object pronoun
  • When you have a double object pronoun and a verb
    phrase, you can attach them.
  • When you attach them, you double them up with the
indirect object pronoun first and the direct
    object pronoun second.
  • When you attach 2 object pronouns, you need to
add an accent to the infinitive in the syllable
that would normally carry the stress (usually the
    syllable before the infinitive ending).
