Why are you doing it?
SIMPLE The first examination is in November of
this year, when you arrive at RSS youll have
about 8/9 weeks in lessons before the exam. This
simply is not enough time for us to cover
everything that you need, so, were asking you to
start NOW!!! We are confident that your maths
teachers have either already covered this content
or are able to and we are asking you to simply do
as many of these questions as you can. WE WILL BE
COLLECTING ALL OF THESE BOOKLETS AT THE END OF
YEAR 9 AND THEY WILL HELP US TO DECIDE WHICH
MATHS SET YOU WILL BE GOING INTO!

Everything is available from the Study-Zone

Maths _at_ RSS Expectations
  • All students are silent when staff are speaking.
  • All writing equipment and induction booklets are
    placed on the desk immediately.
  • All other equipment is to be placed on the floor.
  • MP3 players and mobile phones should NOT be
    visible.
  • Students stand behind their chairs and are
    dismissed by the teacher.

Homework
Homework will be given once a week, it could take
the form of
  • Worksheet
  • Research
  • Continuation of coursework
  • Revision this will not simply be REVISE but
    will be a mind map etc..
