• Not to be complacent

• God faithful to Joseph
• Joseph rises to the top
• Able to help his family

• What can we learn from Joseph?
• God gives us things to do for him
• Places us in roles for a purpose
• Who or for what purpose are you in your role for?

Moses

• Trouble at the top
• Life of learning
• God given authority

• What can we learn from Moses?
• Not to try doing things in our own strength
• We are saved by Grace
• We dont fit comfortably in this world

David Solomon

• God allowed Solomon to build Him a temple
• God isnt tied to a building

• What can we learn from David Solomon?
• Dont think that we can box God in!
• Just because we come to Church doesnt mean that
  our relationship with God is right.

Reactions to a History Lesson

• People didnt want to hear the truth
• God cannot be kept locked in a place
• Dont reject Gods messengers
• Being filled with the Holy Spirit gives us
  courage to face all that Satan will try to throw
  at us.
• Our calling is to live for Jesus.
