8What is competence?
- All the factors for an actor to perform in an
ecological niche. - The context in the ecological niche has an
important impact, and to enable people to act in
an ecological niche effectively, meta competences
are necessary. - To develop competences over time, including the
changes of the ecological niche, meta cognitive
processes and reflection play an important role

papers .We need a obliging commitment regarding
the number of papers (including the paper titles
and authors) until the end of April 2008.
Furthermore please send us a list of your review
committee (name, title, affiliation). In this
case no new reviews are necessary.Deadline for
the submissions could be 15 June 2008 for a
publishing date in July.
