• Colombias perfect climate for coffee production
  is partly due to the Andes which provide
  altitude and other environmental conditions.

• Many coffee growers live right beside their
  coffee plantations. In the more rural areas of
  Colombia scenes such as this one are very common.

before they are picked? The red beans are ready
to be picked and the green ones need to stay in
the sun. There isnt a machine that can tell the
difference between ripe and unripe beans, so they
must be picked by hand
